The Unified Health Command of Yellowstone County reports an increase in the number of influenza cases in recent weeks and is implementing visitor restrictions to hospitals.  

HOSPITAL INPATIENT UNITS
In order to protect patients who are especially vulnerable to influenza, visitor restrictions are in effect in all hospital inpatient units. These restrictions will remain in place until further notice:
• No children under the age of 18 are permitted. 
• All visitors must be free of fever, cough, sore throat, vomiting and diarrhea. 
• If you have any questions, please ask a member of our staff.

FAMILY BIRTH CENTER
In order to protect our newborns and their mothers during the influenza season, visitor restrictions are in effect for the Family Birth Center (LDRP and NICU). These restrictions will remain in place until further notice:
• No children under the age of 18 are permitted in the LDRP, with the exception of the newborn's siblings. 
• No children under the age of 18 or siblings are permitted in the NICU.
• All visitors, including siblings, must be free of fever, cough, colds, sore throat, vomiting and diarrhea.
• All visits must take place in the mother's room.
• Please wash your hands thoroughly or use an alcohol-based hand antiseptic before having contact with baby or mom.
